Norwood Together Awarded $20,000 Grant for the Old Norwood Bingo Hall

Yesterday at an event held at Brink's in College Hill, Norwood Together was one of seven organizations who were awarded funds from the Duke Energy Revitalization Grant. The selected Organizations were located in the Cincinnati neighborhoods of College Hill, Northside, Camp Washington, and Avondale as well as organizations in the cities of Covington and Norwood. Duke Energy bestowed a total of $110,000 in grant money to non-profit organizations in order to enhance those neighborhoods. Norwood Together received $20,000 which will be directed to helping with the redevelopment of the former and long vacant bingo hall located on Montgomery Rd.
