OUR TEAM

Sarah and her family have lived in Norwood since 2006 when she and her husband bought the old Abrams Brake Shop on Mills Avenue and turned it into their home. While Sarah's professional role has always been working in the Community and Economic Development fields (she is currently the Director of Cincinnati State's Goldman Sachs 10K Small Businesses Program), she is thrilled to be able to use some of these skills in Norwood, the City she calls home. One of her favorite things about Norwood is that it's the most densely populated area in the entire Cincinnati region which lends itself to more walkability, energy, and potential to support lots of small locally-owned businesses!

Since moving to Norwood in 2012, Kristen has been involved with the Williams Avenue Community Garden and is an active member of the Norwood Business & Professional Women’s Club. She loves being able to walk with her family to playgrounds, parks and schools, most likely running into a friendly face along the way.

Eric Haines has been in banking since 2011, currently a commercial relationship manager at Fifth Third Bank. He moved to Norwood from East Hyde Park in 2020 with his wife Liz, two children, and dog Henry. You can find us walking, scootering, or biking around the neighborhood and Wasson Trail!

Myron Huges is the managing Director of BlueRose Supply, LLC (BRS) located on Sherman Avenue in Norwood. Mr. Hughes is a 1986 graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he received his bachelors degree in Marketing. He is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional. In July 2020, he received his certificate of Entrepreneurship from Cincinnati State’s Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Business Program. In addition, he currently serves on various boards and committees, and done extensive volunteer work throughout his professional career. He currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife Sherry.

A stay-at-home mom to three small girls, Alisha Loch is passionate about contributing to Norwood to make the community everything it can be now and for future generations. She loves community events, parks, porches, and anything that increases the small-town feel of Norwood.

Melanie Mize is a lifelong Norwood resident. Many generations of her family, on both her mother’s and father’s sides, have lived, worked, and gone to school in Norwood. That tradition continues. Melanie went to Norwood Schools, and proudly sends her children there today. She lives on Floral Avenue. In 2014 she located her law practice to the old train depot on Montgomery Road. She has a deep commitment to the City of Norwood and is excited to be working with Norwood Together.

For 15 years, David Thompson has lived in Norwood with his wife and two children. In his professional life, David is the Vice President of Affordable Housing for the Model Group, Inc. a local real estate development company. In his free time, David can be found sitting on his porch, talking with neighbors, enjoying Norwood’s walkability, or coaching youth sports.
