Commissioner Driehaus Tours Norwood with Norwood Together

This past Friday, June 21st, Norwood Together had the privilege to give a tour of Norwood to Commissioner Driehaus and her Director of Public Affairs, Chris Harding. Our President Mary C. Miller, Executive Director Ron Mosby, and one of our interns Andrew Guthrie met Commissioner Driehaus and Director Harding at Gordo’s on Montgomery Road. Over their delicious burgers, they discussed the different ways Hamilton County could be able to more directly impact the City of Norwood as well as allow Norwood Together to further their endeavors

We then visited three other locations: The Old Bingo Hall, the Allison School, and Birdie’s, all projects in various stages of development ranging from just starting to finished. For each of these three, Norwood Together was able to assist in some manner, including connecting interested parties with resources, experts, and grants, with the process of rehabilitation of these buildings.
